Caring for students

At GRC Oatley Senior Campus, we aim to support all students. We have an extensive network of support within the school.

There are 2 Welfare Head Teachers.

Mr Kevin Wright for Year 11 in 2017

Ms Margret Zauss for Year 12 in 2017

The Welfare Head Teachers are supported by a team of Student Advisers. Each year group is separated into 4 House Groups. The four Houses are:

Animus - meaning courageous

Fortis - meaning strong

Mirabilis - meaning wonderful

Virtus - meaning powerful

A Student Adviser takes care of and supports students in each House Group. They act as mentors and advisers to their group of students. They will phone parents if they have a concern. In 2016, the Student Advisers are:

Year 11

Animus House - Mrs Anastasia CARDILLO

Fortis House - Mrs Voula Alexiou

Mirabilis House - Ms Jessica DAVIES

Virtus House - Mrs Diana REPOLE

Year 12

Animus House - Mr Andrew France

Fortis House - Mr Mark Mordo

Mirabilis House - Nathan Compton

Virtus House - Wayne Lawton

Our Learning Support Centre, staffed by Mrs Voula Alexiou, is located in the School Library. Students can make appointments to see Mrs Alexiou to improve their organisation and time management skills, develop study routines and get help to break down and get started on any task.

Our school environment welcomes and respects people from all backgrounds.
